A state-of-the-art filtration process

The RPM eco water treatment plant purifies the most polluted industrial wastewaters.

Our chemists and engineers first filter the wastewater through filtration units on silica and modified clay, as well as a membrane filtration process. They then undergo a sophisticated chemical treatment before passing through a final stage of membrane filtration using coal.

Zero waste of drinking water

Treated water is used to wash contaminated plastics collected by RPM eco, enabling us to avoid the use of drinking water. It’s then treated once more before being redirected to the municipal plant.

RPM eco’s advanced technologies meet the physicochemical standards of municipalities and the Montreal Metropolitan Community.
